During 17 years of constant joint concert activity M. Fedotov and G. Petrova performed all the main repertoire for violin and piano, playing monographic cycles - Beethoven, Brahms, Mozart, Prokofiev, Shostakovich, Tchaikovsky, etc.
Duet “Fedotov-Petrova” with composer A. Isakova created their own exclusive repertoire of transcriptions of symphony, opera and ballet music – Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Borodin, Mussorgsky, Verdi, Gounod, Wagner, etc. These are full-length programs containing Russian and West European music virtuously transcribed for duet “violin-piano”. As a result the musicians have not only broadened the repertoire, but also have made a big step in development of their genre and expanded the limits of the possibilities of “violin-piano” duet. These programs have been shut by TV channel “Kultura” during the concerts at the Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory and they are broadcasted, recorded and published by “DML-classics” (Japan) and “Classical Records”.
Fedotov and Petrova participate in different radio and TV programs. Such programs as “Golden Collection” and “In your House” are made by TV Channel “Kultura”; TV Channels “NTV” and “TVC” and foreign TV Channels also made programs about them.
